I had my oil changed down at the Boynton Beach FL Wal-Mart and it was a 3 hour wait. At this Portage Walmart, it is a breeze. The woman who processes requests at the desk is friendly, helpful and she reassured me that it would take less than an hour. I did my weekly grocery shopping and walked to pick up my car - only 45 minutes. I visited at 10:45am on a Friday. Great service and they vacuumed my front carpeting!
I have been bringing my cars here for awhile with no problems. Until the last time...I bought the last container of a better oil, that I wanted them to use. (I paid extra for this oil), After they changed it we noticed that they put the oil back on the shelf...They put Pennzoil on the sticker with the mileage for the next change. I did not buy Pennzoil. Not happy. It is time to change my oil again...I now dread that this place is the only game in town.
I have taken my vehicle here in the past and not had problems. Today I was working until 6pm, but I looked up their hours and saw they were open until 7pm. I arrived at 6:30 looking to have an oil change and was told they were done for the night. I said you might want to adjust your hours of operation if you're already done for the night as the signs outside and on the website both state 7pm. I was told by the lady at the counter this was because corporate wouldn't let them change the hours which makes no sense at all. Why would you list you're open until 7pm if you don't accept vehicles for service after 6pm I will be going else where for service from now on.
Terrible response to an attempt to get service. The traditional Wal-Mart Tire "service" experience. I had a screw in my tire TREAD not the side wall. I waited 45 minutes after telling them the tire was going lo quickly. They refused to repair it claiming it was too close to the side wall. It was not close to the side wall and was clearly in the tread within the belted area. After be refused the ability to access my vehicle to attempt to plug the leak myself, and it now being dark and cold out, I had to deal with the flat myself in the parking lot. Clearly an attempt to get me to buy a tire rather than repair a two month old clearly repairable tire Another repair shop had no problem with repairing it and I have had no problem since. Avoid at all cost. It is a waist of your time to attempt to get service.
Good service and communication. Helped me out and saved me a little money at the same time.
