Terrible, terrible experience. There are police everywhere. The one night I was there, the police came searching for a fugitve (whom they didn't find) and then I saw them arrest a construction worker in the parking lot for smelling like cannabis (!!). I would not visit again if someone paid me.
The owner is super nice, rooms r clean. Great place to stay!
This is a mom and pop motel that is older but very clean and fantastic owners who are always there to help you be comfortable and happy. So nice and SO inexpensive! Also only 25 minutes away from Wisconsin Dells!
We ended up going here because there was no other place within 100 miles. It was ok. Manager/owner was very nice. Room was old, extremely tacky & very run down. There weren't any plugs near the bed so we had to ask for an extension cord, which they provided. The bathroom tiles were literally falling off the wall. The carpet was funky and our door wouldn't lock, so we piled our suitcases on top of chairs & barricaded ourselves in for the night. In spite of all these issues, the room was relatively clean, bug free & the beds were comfortable. It was one of the best nights sleep we've ever gotten in a motel. The stars are for the low rate, friendly welcome we got & for the comfy bed.
.people at front desk very nice and helpful room clean has a cabin feel to it .the only down fall for the 50 bucks is theres no cable tv only analog.
